AMD lanzó sus nuevos controladores gráficos Radeon Software Crimson 16.2, los cuales mejoran algo de lo que nos quejábamos hace un par de horas en el artículo "Nvidia + DirectX 12 = Agua y aceite; AMD como pez en el agua" y es que mejoran aún más el rendimiento de las GPUs Radeon bajo la API DirectX 12 y aún así sin incluir la característica DirectFlip, es por ello que anuncian una mejora de rendimiento en dicho benchmark junto al Rise of the Tomb Raider, que también se beneficia de mejoras de rendimiento y calidad gráfica.

Por otro lado, se añade perfiles CrossFire para The Division y XCOM 2, además de que ahora SteamVR Performace Test dará por válida las GPUs Radeon R9 390, Nano y la serie Fury como una gráfica muy recomendada, además de una mayor afinidad a las configuraciones Multi-GPU.

Otras de las mejoras pasan por resolver problemas encontrados en juegos como Fallout 4, Far Cry 4, Rise of the Tomb Raider, World of Warcraft, malas experiencia de juego cuando AMD FreeSync se usa bajo una configuración AMD CrossFire, además del AMD Overdrive, que ahora muestra bien las velocidades cuando se realiza overclock. Te dejamos con el enlace de su descarga junto al listado de mejoras, estando obligado a informarte que estos son drivers Legacy, por lo que se pueden utilizar con gráficas AMD Radeon HD 7700 Series hacia delante (incluyendo GPUs móviles y APU).
