Controladores AMD Catalyst 14.4 RC ya disponibles para su descarga

AMD ha lanzado hoy una nueva versión de sus controladores gráficos Catalyst, concretamente una versión RC (Release Candidate) de los Catalyst 14.4 que indican una maduración tras la versión beta que hará que durante las próximas semanas llegue la versión con el certificado WHQL.

Los AMD Catalyst 14.4 RC traen pleno soporte a la API OpenGL 4.4, y mejoras para equipos basados en configuraciones CrossFire además de mejoras de rendimiento en Battlefield 4 (y solucionar bugs) bajo la API Mantle. Estos controladores gráficos también llegan para dar soporte a la AMD Radeon R9 295X, a toda la serie gráfica Radeon R9 200, y a unas ya maduras AMD Radeon HD 5000, 6000, 7000 y 8000 Series.

Known Issues  

• System will TDR or BSOD when encoding with Power Director 11
• Driver installation might result in a black screen when installing on a Dual AMD Radeon R9 295X configuration under Windows 8.1 on specific platforms (see below).   The issue can be overcome by rebooting the PC; upon reboot the display driver will be installed.  The remaining Catalyst components can then be installed.
